HUGH ADAMSON
graduated from the SASA as a secondary school art teacher. He then taught for 15 years at various high schools around South Australia and only really started painting again about 5 years ago and has been developing his style ever since.


IAN CHANDLER
(1942-2004) gained the Diploma of Art from SASA in 1962. He became a Lecturer at SASA in 1971 where he remained until 1999, when he retired to work fulltime as an artist. This link is provided with the kind permission of Ian's wife Janne.


YVONNE EAST
completed her Bachelor of Visual Arts degree at the South Australian School of Art in 2000. Currently, Yvonne hosts an art show on 90.1 Happy FM radio 3pm Sundays where she interviews artists from all disciplines. She has also recently completed the Kondoli mural on the esplanade at Victor Harbor as part of the Fleurieu Biennale Community Program.


KON HEYER
was born in Germany and came to Adelaide in 1952. He grauated with a Diploma of Art Teaching from the South Australian School of Art in 1964. He is a member of the Hill's Artist Voice and Red House groups and is a fellow and Vice President of the Royal South Australian Scciety of Arts. He works in both two and three dimensional media to create works that always include an 'element of surprise'
.


JILLIAN GREGURKE
was born and raised in Broken Hill. She moved to Adelaide in 1992 and furthered her art studies at the South Australian School of Art graduating with a Bachelor of Visual Art and Applied Design in 2004. Jillian has won several art prizes and awards-the most recent being selected to exhibit her artwork at the internationally prestigious Florence Biennale to be held in December 2009.


RITA HALL
graduated with a Dip T Art from SASA in 1968. By 1989 she was teaching part time at SASA and in 1992 she completed the Master of Visual Art degree there. Her most recent exhibition of work: Rita Hall, Museum Studies: 1969-2009, was held at the South Australian Museum in June of this year.

NAOMI MCCANN graduated from the South Australian School of Art with a Bachelor of Graphic Design in 1991. Since that time she has exhibited her work in both solo and group shows both locally and interstate. Her most recent solo exhibitions (2008) have been held at the Stephen Sinclair Gallery, Adelaide.


MILTON MOON
has been a ceramicist for over 50 years. In 1969, he was appointed Senior Lecturer, Head of Ceramics at the South Australian School of Art. In 1975 he resigned from lecturing to work full-time at Summertown: in 1979 he relocated to Adelaide where he continues his work as a leading Australian ceramicist.

CHRISTIAN CLARE ROBERTSON graduated from the South Australian School of Art with a Diploma in Fine Art (Painting) in 1967. One of her most extraordinary bodies of work has been produced under the Extreme Landforms Project which has taken her to remote places such as Greenland, Antarctica, the Kimberley Region, Hawaii and Iceland. Her most recent exhibition of paintings: 'Upon this site - Darwin, presents an intimate view of a selection of plants that continue to grow in the wild in amd around the city of Darwin, Northern Territory, where she has lived and worked for the past forty years.


RON ROWE
graduated from the SASA in 1964 and taught for 4 years in secondary  schools. Headed to London and USA from 1968-71.
Returned to lecture at Western Teachers College - became Senior lecturer at SASA. Ron retired in 1998 and is now a full time artist and website designer.


LOIS TURNER
graduated from SASA in 1990, majoring in painting and continued to exhibit her work in galleries throughout Adelaide. In 1998 she commenced studies in philosophy at the University of Adelaide. In 2004 she was diagnosed with breast cancer which had a profound influence on the direction of her artwork from thereon in. Lois is currently exploring the way the environment impacts on the risks associated with breast cancer particularly amongst night-shift workers. She also is addressing some of the cultural and sociological issues that may affect the outcome for women living in remote and regional areas of Australia.
