At the recent Max Lyle event, which was held on March 24th at the Bradley Forum, University of South Australia, a list of artworks for sale was provided along with the opportunity to view some of these works at the event.

Souvenir cartoon by Hugo Shaw for the Jack Cross interviews Max Lyle event

The original of this pen and ink drawing by Hugo Shaw which commemorates Jack Cross' interview with sculptor Max Lyle has now been sold.

Hugo Shaw was commissioned to develop souvenir cartoons of the Friends SASA annual 'Artist interview' events. Hugh is pictured here holding his cartoon of Geoff Wilson 'On the Couch'. This was the inaugural interview which was held in April 2009 wherein Winnie Pelz interviewed Geoff Wilson.This original work has now been SOLD. In 2010, Jack Cross interviewed Ann Newmarch and Hugo Shaw again drew a cartoon to commemorate the event. High quality copies of all 3 Hugo Shaw cartoons are available for sale at $30 each.
